Program Overview: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and ongoing pandemic, Cook has assembled a Health & Risk Advisory Board. The Health & Risk Board will meet weekly to review the current COVID-19 landscape, ongoing trends, best practices, and solutions that help keep customers safe and operational. In addition, due to more employees working remotely from home and the increased usage of digital and remote technologies overall, the board will review ongoing threats in cybersecurity as well as traditional risk.
The board is led by renowned infectious disease specialist, Dr. Mark Loveless. His professional path has included private medical practice, academic medicine, clinical research, public health administration, and the pharmaceutical industry. He also has served as the Medical Epidemiologist for the HIV/AIDS programs in the Oregon Health Division, the Medical Director of HIV/AIDS Clinical Services at Oregon Health & Science University, and Medical Director for the Influenza and Transplant Medicine groups at Roche/Genentech. Most recently he was CEO and Science Director of MNR Analytics, LLC, a company that provided innovative tools, analytics, and consultative resources designed to improve the structure and function of integrated community health systems and their extended resource networks.
The boards first task is helping customers and employees safely navigate the re-opening process by assisting with re-open planning, readiness models, and social distancing floorplan & airflow design. The board is also working on a COVID-19 CEO Readiness Test, designed for sr. leadership teams to prepare for the new norm.
