Cook Security Group has successfully updated all affected NCR Models that have our RVATM service. Our Managed Services Dept. stayed up all night after receiving the patch from the manufacturer and after countless hours all ATMs with RemoteView ATM are now operational since 6 am Jan. 5th 2017.

Dear Valued Customer…
We have been made aware of a manufacture issue associated with the rebooting of NCR SelfServ ATMs that use Encrypting Pin Pad 2 (EPP2) keyboard terminals with a device serial number less than 02650000, manufactured by our vendor prior to 2013. After these terminals reboot, they experience an error that will stop the ATM from going into service.
Effective immediately, when at all possible, you should not reboot any NCR SelfServ
ATM terminals as part of service procedures until we advise further… We received a
HotFix from NCR that we’ve tested and will soon be implementing on all affected units.
We are deploying the fix to affected locations as fast as possible. If you subscribe to RemoteATM, your ATMs will be fixed remotely. The non-RVATM locations will require an onsite service call and will be addressed as quickly as possible.
